Easy enough, if you're a fan of the series or not which is your favorite Star Wars film? Mine is Empire but I can't really put a legitimate reason as to why. I do know however that my favorite scene of Star Wars is the introduction of the Imperial Fleet just prior to the battle of Hoth; that scene is also the first time John William's "Imperial March" was introduced.

South Park Creators Warned over Muhammad Depiction
New York based Revolution Muslim warns the creators of comedy show "South Park" of a possible violent attack if they are to air an episode depicting the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Seriously, these radicals need to get with the freakin' times. What? The free world has to censor itself because some muslims find the content of something as little as depicting thier religious founder offensive? I mean c'mon. First off, this group so called "Revolution Muslim" is an organization based in the freakin' USA where the freedom of speech and press are very evident amongst the people. Second of all, who do they think they are wanting to change everything just because Muhammad is in a cartoon. You don't see the Christians and Jews (and virtually every other religion) publicly condemning television producers because of thier comedic and sometimes offensive ways of portraying thier religioun. For example every comedy cartoon has depicted Jesus Christ in various episodes and sometimes offensively; you don't see a lot of backlash from that do you? There's also a few South Park episodes making play on Moses and the Rastafarian religion. Hinduism and Budhism have been used in Family Guy in comedic scenes. But in all honesty, why should we change because the muslims are offended by this especially when other faiths have been portrayed in a comedic and similar manner and not give overt backlash. South Park has already altered two of thier episodes beause of muslim backlash regarding the depiction of the prophet Muhammad, why the heck should the creators of South Park alter thier episodes because it "offends" thier faith. So in the words of Jon Stewart- "go **** yourself." |
