WOW. Super super scared. Got woken up at 4.30 this morning by a 7.4 magnitude earthquake. My town is a total mess with buildings collapsed and only limited power and no water. We keep on having strong aftershocks and everyone is just so scared and unsure what to do. Apparently we aren't going to get water for 'a couple of days' and its scary because i'm not sure if we have enough. I totally just gave away my location, but I have to tell someone like omg. I'm shaking and the main one happened 8 hours ago.

As for the water thing I wouldn't be surprised if NZ sends some type of disaster relief so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Our house was not structurally damaged at all ( which is incredible) but all of my dads colleagues have had their chimneys break off and crash through their roofs. No one has died, and only a few people in hospital with critical injuries from falling debris etc. I never want to go through it again, but not we just hope no more damage occurs with the crazy weather that is apparently coming tonight (120kmh winds). We had a few bottles of fizzy drink which was okay, but now that the water seems to be partially on, we just hope it is here to stay. My school has been closed for Monday at least and my dad's office is apparently seriously damaged because of how old the building was. Aaaaah another aftershock just then. I'm just so glad and lucky that everyone is safe. I feel so sorry for the 9 people who died in a plane crash on the west coast at Fox Glacier today though. Totally unrelated, but their plane crashed and all on board died. Can anyone tell me why people are so obsessed by Justin Bieber? And no, I don't mean the fans. I mean the people who hate Justin Bieber. It is so HOT. 100 friggin' degrees outside! 100!!!! I do not take well in triple-digit numbers. It has never gone in the triple digits in my area that I remember... I would very much like it to be 50 degrees cooler, thanks.
